The domains of the Mayerson Academy’s Professional Development Framework and the Course Level Guide serve as resources for use in developing an individual pathway of professional learning:
- Review the Framework to determine areas of strengths and needs in a specific domain
- At the end of each domain, review the course offerings
- Refer to the Course Level Guide to determine appropriate level
- Go to MyPD to review detailed descriptions and register for selected course(s)

practice and reflect on responsive leadership*, establish perspective for teacher leadership role, review and master practical use of implementation models, and expand in-depth knowledge of content needed to facilitate and lead professional development initiatives. |
Courses at levels two, three, or four include elements from previous levels.
*Responsive teaching/leadership refers to a teaching/leadership style that is receptive, open, approachable, quick to respond, alert and reactive to immediate need.
