Mayerson Academy is a national authority in the design and delivery of research-based professional development.  By conducting a needs assessment for each client and designing a customized, comprehensive professional development plan, the Academy distinguishes itself from other human resource development organizations.

Teams of innovative educators, technologists, and researchers create learning experiences that positively impact student achievement and organizational performance.  Based on client needs, these experiences can take the form of coursework during which desired practices are modeled, coaching to support implementation, and collaborative structures for reflection and improvement of practice.  All of these services can be provided at the Academy, the client’s site, or online. 

The Academy improves its ability to positively impact the educational community by systematically evaluating delivery of services, degree of implementation, and outcomes achieved for clients.  Mayerson Academy also participates in research to improve professional practice by collaborating with universities and other educational organizations.

Since its inception in 1992, the Academy’s work has grown to include regional, state, national, and international clients.  As a result of its comprehensive and needs-based approach to professional development, the Academy receives recognition at the state and national levels.
