Mayerson Academy Framework for Professional Development: Teachers

Introduction

Organization of the Framework

The organization of this framework follows the four domains of teacher evaluation (Danielson, 2000). Mayerson Academy had identified standards for professional practice in each of the domains. Standards for the first, second and fourth domains apply to teachers in every content area, while standards for the third domain (instruction) are content area specific.
