This week Mayerson Academy will introduce new online coursework for 2016 incorporating Orton-Gillingham Multisensory Reading and LETRS at the International Dyslexia Association (IDA) Conference in Grapevine, TX.
IDA conference brings in experts from all over the world to educate attendees on the latest research and remediation for Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Response to Intervention, Literacy, Critical Reading, Vocabulary, Spelling, Language Disorders and more. Mount St. Joseph’s Reading Science Program – developed with Mayerson Academy – is fully accredited by the International Dyslexia Association. Participants may earn a master’s degree, dyslexia certificate or Ohio Reading Endorsement, entirely online. Applications are now being taken for the January and June cohorts.
Mayerson Academy is in the process of putting their IMSLEC and IDA-accredited Orton-Gillingham Multisensory Reading Program online. Participants successfully completing all coursework will be eligibile to be certified at the teaching level. No university registration or tuition will be required for this program – however, optional university credit will be available for those wishing graduate hours. Coursework will begin in spring.
