
Under the leadership of Jeff Groh, Director of The New School Montessori, an independent Montessori educational center in Cincinnati, the science of character strengths were brought to students and staff through the Thriving Learning Communities (TLC) program. Groh’s vision was that TLC could further unify this tightly-knit school under one shared language of character strengths. That vision has kept character strengths in the minds and hearts of staff through a deeply integrated curriculum supported by professional development that includes strengths-based language.
