In the recent blog post, Strengths Beyond School, Carly Rospert introduced the Mayerson Academy vision of expanding our strengths work beyond the school building and into the community. We believe that activating a community wide strengths initiative will foster strong, connected communities through the activation of strengths within individuals, organizations, and neighborhoods. With John P. Parker school at the center of “Pitch Night in Madisonville,” character strengths were on display by students, teachers, staff and the many volunteers and community members who participated.
Last week, around 150 individuals gathered at John P. Parker school to support their neighbors and friends in making positive change in Madisonville.
