Nine Grantees Selected for Positive Character Strengths Education Program
Mayerson Academy announced today that nine grantees were selected to receive $ 10,000 each of professional learning services, tools and products to create a Thriving Learning Community within their schools focusing on individual character strengths to develop social emotional competencies. The competitive grant process began on March 28th and attracted interest from more than 1500 schools.

Winton Woods Middle School, Cincinnati, OH
“We are honored to have such a wonderful group of schools sending “Champions” to Mayerson Academy this summer for three intensive days of professional learning. We can’t wait to share our curriculum, tools and resources with this special group of school leaders,” said Lynn Ochs, Senior Learning Designer for Mayerson Academy.
Grant recipients will participate in the Champions Institute, a three-day immersive learning experience June 27 – 29th at the renowned Mayerson Academy in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Champions Institute will prepare each team to return to their schools and implement a comprehensive blended learning curriculum with tools, resources and ongoing support.
